Located in the commercial district of Tianjin, China, the Friendship Hotel is known for attracting visitors from all over the world. The Friendship Hotel consists of over 180 guestrooms, with a ballroom, private dining rooms, fitness center, and a relocated all-day restaurant at the rooftop terrace, This rooftop restaurant becomes a tranquil place for dining during the day, and a vibrant, hip place for patrons to relax and dine at night. Inspired by the modern design of the original Friendship Hotel, our approach to the facade was to update the facade vocabulary to the 21st century using modern materials and current design details that provide cleaner lines and better sight lines for all guestrooms.
